Welcome to The Sound of LA – an independent record label, music production studio, and artist development center, led by the dynamic duo Anissa Sutton and Michael B. Sutton.
Michael B. Sutton was handpicked by Stevie Wonder himself to be presented to Berry Gordy to serve as a staff producer at Motown from 1970 to 1974. During his tenure, Michael wrote and produced hit songs for legendary artists such as **Michael Jackson**, **Thelma Houston**, and **Smokey Robinson**. Even after his time at Motown, Michael continued to craft chart-topping hits and collaborate with some of the biggest names in music, solidifying his status as a music industry legend.
Anissa Sutton, the visionary founder of Pump It Up Magazine and President of Your Music Consultant, empowers artists through strategic branding, promotion, and development. Her innovative approach and dedication to artist success complement Michael’s rich musical legacy, making them a powerhouse team at The Sound of LA.
